For this exercise I chose Shoes as my subject.

The exercise was fairly simple to begin with, although I didn’t have a variety of real subjects to choose from, so I had to refer to various images of google for support. I basically drew a range of shoes, seperated basically by their gender based attributes just to make the process easier, and then went on to paint them with watercolour. While it is a simple medium, it’s not one I’m all that familiar with, despite using it quite a bit, so the execution was on the tricky side. Most of them were left uncoloured.
